Creating A Well-Rounded School!
The Nicasio School Foundation, a non-profit organization 501(c)(3), was established in 1997 by a group of parent volunteers who were committed to restoring and maintaining essential programming that had disappeared out of the public school as result of California’s Proposition 13. Driven by the belief that our children deserve a well-rounded, complete education, these parents started the Foundation to bridge the gap between what the state sees as acceptable for children and what we in this community want for our children. Specifically, the Foundation raises money through various fundraising activities to underwrite Art, Music, P.E., Foreign Language, Scholarships and Special Programs such as Student Council and the Buddy Program at Nicasio School.
Nicasio School has a long history of providing quality education to a small but diverse community of students. With the highest API standardized test scores in West Marin, Nicasio School is recognized as a leader in educating students from all walks of life. Money raised by the Foundation is one of the key reasons we have a high-performing school which consistently ranks in the top 10% of public schools in the state.
The Nicasio School Foundation contributes a vital 12% of the school's annual budget.
Simply put, your contributions make special programs including Art, Music, PE and Foreign Language possible.
You can help the students of Nicasio School continue to experience the excellent education that has been our community tradition for 150 years. Donate>>
